About Me
For over 25 years I have delivered major business platform transformations and enabled organisation-wide change and improvement. I have significant experience in building, leading and motivating high-performance, multi-disciplinary project teams and business partnerships built on a solution consulting background gained within IBM and Cambridge Technology Partners.
An IT Director who has lived on both sides of the fence who went from technical delivery approaches to a strategic IT Director.
And a digital transformation leader with a software product and international solution delivery background.
I led the digital transformation of a fund management business. At the outset, the number of staff was increasing, there was heavy use of paper and they had a tactical approach to IT.
The transformation saved the company 5% of its revenue and enabled it to add £200m of assets under management by launching new funds and set them on a trajectory of more revenue and a simpler business.
I also led the transformation of a division of a FTSE 20 company, RELX, to combine 4 insurance data analytics platforms into 1.
The result was a saving to the business of £1m per year in IT costs and growth in the business by cross selling products of 20%.
I transformed the IT platform of an Academy school in London.
The result changed the lives of the students and parents. Parents could see reports and engage with the interactively and the sixth formers experience was transformed using Chromebooks instead of paper.
